Realize Your Beauty, Inc. is now a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization

I wanted to share our very exciting news: our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status has been approved by the IRS and our application to be registered as a charitable organization pursuant to Form CHAR410 has been approved by New York State making us a fully exempt organization at both the federal and state level.

What does this mean?

This means that Realize Your Beauty, Inc. is now able to fully function as a not for profit corporation without the need of a fiscal sponsor. We are now able to accept donations, fundraise, apply and receive grants all under our own status. All contributions made to Realize Your Beauty are now tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Wasn't Realize Your Beauty, Inc. already a not-for-profit corporation?

Yes. Being a non-profit and having tax-exempt status are two different things. Our status as a not-for-profit corporation was approved by New York State when we were incorporated. Being a non-profit organization means that the purpose of the company is not to make money, but to fulfill our mission. The IRS and New York State have now approved our application for full tax-exempt status.

Now, more than ever, Realize Your Beauty is looking forward to implementing our programs and getting our message heard!
